The Rosedale community, in north/central Austin, is one of vintage charm. Many of the homes in Rosedale were built in the 1930s and 40s, however, many contemporary homes have also been built in recent years. The neighborhood’s central location provides residents with a convenient commute to north and central/downtown Austin. Many of the large trees in Rosedale are remnants of the neighborhood’s early roots as the home to several local nurseries, which is how the community’s name came to be. Popular neighborhood attractions include Ramsey Park and the Shoal Creek Greenbelt.
